Driving home yesterday I witnessed an accident. The passenger in the car in front of me jumped out and ran in front of my car. He noticed the lights had turned green and looked at me to see if I was going. I hadn't moved and he gave me the "thanks mate" before stepping into the next lane. That's when it all happened in a split second. I noticed a car out the corner of my eye flying up that lane and then "Bang". He bounced off the windscreen and flipped in the air landing on the road right next to his mates car. I wont spare you any more details but it shook me up a bit.
I waited for the storm to pass before I headed out for a run. The roads were steamy and I knew by the size of some of the puddles that my feet were going to get wet. For some strange reason I didn't take any water again and this hit me at 16k when I actually got thirsty. All up 21.5k in 5:30 pace. Wet feet and the only feature of the run was a little mouse crossing the road. I swear he turned and gave me a wink.
Take care.

Gosh, what a terrible thing to witness :(
Hey, I saw a mouse skuttle across a street in front of me yesterday too, it gave me a nod (which is as good as a wink to a blind horse).
